April 25, 2005: Nymox announced
today that it has been informed that the Company's Premarket Approval (PMA) application to
FDA concerning a kit version of the Company's AlzheimAlert urine test will be going
forward to a presentation before a panel of the Medical Devices Advisory Committee. This
step follows the submission of further data and analyses by the Company in October and
December 2004 and March 2005. The date for the panel meeting will be confirmed in due
course. |

today that its tobacco exposure testing technology has proven to be a valuable aid for
counseling expectant mothers about the risks posed by tobacco use and exposure to
themselves and their unborn children. Under the direction of the Medical Director, Dr.
Terrence McGaw, MD, and Tamara Baumann, APN RNC, the Washoe Pregnancy Center in Reno,
Nevada, has successfully been using Nymox's NicAlert product as a teaching tool and
counseling aid in order to show expectant mothers the level of their tobacco use and
exposure. |

remain common according to a new study by researchers at the Centers for Disease Control. Nymox's

disease have been strongly bolstered by newly published study data showing growing
acceptance of the drugs' indications for patients at risk for dementia. Up to half of
clinicians favor the use of statins for treating patients at risk for developing cognitive
impairment and dementia due to vascular risk factors according to a new study published in
the Journal of Neurological Sciences (March 2005; 229-230: 147-150). |
